Though many of the city's original industries, such as paper and silk thread, have moved on, its beauty and grandeur remain. Now moving into the 21st century, Holyoke is remaking its industrial and commerical economic base in technology and the arts. If you are interested in urban renewal, urban planning, period architectural restoration, historical preservation, or multi-cultural history, Holyoke is one of the most vibrant places in the Valley to be for these pursuits!

And this is Gramp's Restaurant across the street from the house, a true gem in downtown Holyoke, home of scrumptuous pierogies, and Donna (one of the owners) who is our neighborhood mom always looking out for us. restaurant front
